Cambridge Dictionary defines the word Uncharted as: something completely new and not previously experienced and therefore possibly difficult to deal with.
In this DTS you will have the opportunity to join different ministries, get equipped in sharing the gospel, travel different countries, and get a taste of missions with 11 weeks of Outreach.
We believe that the love of God is worth being shared. We want to KNOW GOD AND MAKE HIM KNOWN — to the ends of the earth.

Lecture Phase: To Know God
Lecture phase is 12 weeks of teaching from international speakers, teaching from the Bible and sharing their own life experience with God. It is a time to dive deep in your relationship with God, to be challenged, encouraged to grow, to work in teams and learn how to apply what you have been taught along the way. In addition, during the week you take part in practical work, small groups, local ministries in the area, worship, intercession, and have follow up with a staff member. This allows you to grow in teamwork and leadership.
Topic examples: Hearing God’s voice - Nature and Character of God - Holy Spirit - Identity in Christ - Evangelism - Missions
*Two lecture weeks will be abroad before leaving for the outreach phase, and the final two weeks of lecture will happen on our base after the outreach phase.
Outreach Phase: To Make Him Known
The Outreach phase is a unique opportunity to experience new cultures and have a taste of what it looks like to be a missionary. You will put into practice what you have learned during lecture phase and see how God can use you to impact people’s lives.
We have two main goals in mind while abroad: to tell people about Jesus and to show his love through practical works. Outreach may include street evangelism, preaching, working with churches and schools, hosting youth programs, mercy ministry, etc…
God loves the Nations, and so do we! Jesus gave this command, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all.” Mark 16:15
God has put these four locations on our hearts: Greenland, Himalayas, Southeast Europe and Middle East. The location of Outreach will be announced during the lecture phase.
Why Uncharted DTS?
Jesus gave us the mission to make disciples of all nations and we want to challenge you to be part of fulfilling it. The Uncharted DTS is shaped to help you grow in leadership and teach you ways to put the Gospel into action, making disciples of Christ.
During the lecture phase you will be part of different ministries run by the base, encouraging you to take the lead in various activities. These ministries are done locally to reach the people of Northern Norway.
As part of the Uncharted training program, you will have weekly workshops giving you tools and training needed in ministry. This will cover topics such as: public speaking • active listening • working with children and youth • program planning/hosting • organizing games/team building activities • sharing the Gospel • sharing your testimony
After being equipped, we as a DTS will step out into the unknown for outreach. Not everything will be planned: you will get to bring your ideas and visions to life, get to try different roles and take turns leading the team.
Uncharted means something completely new that has not yet been experienced or been mapped. That is our heart: to help you go to places in the world and face things in your personal life, where most people wouldn't dare to go. Starting the transformation process, you enter the dreams and visions given by God. Are you ready to take up the challenge?
The area where the base is situated offers a multitude of outdoor activities that you can do in your free time.
